Reading times/ Easter break

Reading-

3/25 The Cage- 1 1/2 hours

Free post-

My Easter break was quite enjoyable. The Thursday we were released from school my mom and I went to the Maundy Thursday service at church. That Good Friday we also went to church. The Easter Vigil service held at my church was on Saturday; my mom and I served in the service as Lems. Easter Sunday we chilled at home, having a calm Easter instead of going to all the typical brunches etc.

Although I was a nervous wreck over my World History book project over the week period of our break, it was a chill one. On Wednesday I went to my friend's house and stayed there until Friday afternoon. We went to two baseballs for EHS and they won both. We also laid out and swam in her pool and tanned which was fun. The weekend before we arrived back to school was all dedicated to book project work. I was reading till I couldn't go on. The Easter break we had was a very good one, beautiful weather, nice people, and overall chill.

Statement Assessment

2. If you are in a position of power, you are happy.
5. Women are more compassionate and less violent than men.

I think quote #2 relates to Macbeth in the position of king for Macbeth himself. When the witches come to tell him that he is king he is first confused. Yet, after is named Lord he is hopeful of the king's position. I'm sure when he is going to be crowned king he is going to be happy whether or not there was a bad deed done to receive this position. I somewhat disagree with this quote though because power isn't the source of happiness nor does it ensure it.

Quote #5 definitely relates to Macbeth's wife, Lady Macbeth. Lady Macbeth is a foul woman, doesn't seem like it at first but she for sure is. She wants the king to be dead so Macbeth can take his place as king. She says that she would rather be evil or something around those lines than be good. I strongly disagree on this quote mainly because it just isn't true. Women are not more compassionate and less violent than men. That is completely inaccurate in all cases.
