research, research, research

My topic is women's rights and responsibilities in World War II. I've narrowed my topic down mainly to American women and World War II. During the time period of World War II women were as 'equal' as men were in those situations. My topic goes deep into the roles that women were allowed to participate in and their responsibilities as a woman in war. The emerging rights for women in war is important because it laid a foundation for women for  upcoming years. Women had always been known as the lesser value, in say war. In World War II, women were allowed homebound, militant type, and nursing roles. It's an important topic for the progression of women in war to come.
My research to-do list in mainly composed of digging deeper within my topic. I'd love to conduct an interview with a woman who was part of service in WW2. I'd like to evaluate my sources as well, make sure they're thorough.

  1. This sounds like a good topic! I haven't seen anyone similar to this one so far. Usually they involved rights being taken away from people.
